Transmar is a long-established traditional shipping Company, founded by George A. Kavoukas in 1972. In 1988 Mrs. Margarita Kavouka took over the Company after the sudden death of her husband, and in the late 90s her two sons Athanasios and Nikolaos joined the Company.
